Digital Entity is an exploratory and immersive dive into a graphically rendered, infinitely complex object known as a “Mandelbrot”.

Each shape within this object is fractal in nature.

This means that every combination of shapes that make up its structure are limitless in their complexity.

As we barrel towards a future prioritising the certainty that data offers—we must consider the potential for “immeasurable data” to become lost in transmission.

If technology can render a simulation of the infinite—will it also be able to reduce other abstract, or existential concepts; like consciousness, morality, or entropy—into a readable sequence of code?

Should this be proven to be true; it fundamentally challenges our understanding of reality.

In simulating the abstract, it becomes possible we are the simulated.
